Since XX/XX/year>, my mortgage broker has repeatedly requested a loan payoff amount to my current mortgagor, Pennymac, to process the refinancing of my mortgage with another lender. They provided a payoff statement on XX/XX/year> that was only good for XXXX day, and unbeknownst to me was expired by the time I transmitted it to my broker. The new escrow company has been trying since then to obtain an updated payoff statement only to be told they haven't received any requests. However, on XX/XX/year> I received an email from Pennymac with the subject line, " We received your request. Call now to discuss a limited-time offer we have for you. '' It contains a number to call which takes you to a general customer service menu. Requesting a payoff statement to the automated system directs you to request a statement through their website, which charges {$25.00}, an amount I didn't pay for previous payoff statements. Today ( XX/XX/year> ), my broker just informed me that the new escrow company representative was able to speak with a manager at XXXX who told her they would add my payoff statement request " to the line ''.
