RE : Inaccurate Late Payment : Account : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX I'm I am writing to dispute late payments listed on my credit report to paid as agreed and never late because you have violated my consumer rights under 15 U.S. Code 1666b - Timing of payments. Please correct/update this inaccurate information on my credit report. 15 U.S. Code 1666b - Timing of payments ( a ) Time to make payments A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose This reported information is not only a violation of federal law, but just like your agency, they have damaged me in the form of defamation of my character and they have committed aggravated identity theft, because I didnt give them written permission to report this information, which is a violation of 15 USC 1666b. ( b ) Grace period If an open end consumer credit plan provides a time period within which an obligor may repay any portion of the credit extended without incurring an additional finance charge, such additional finance charge may not be imposed with respect to such portion of the credit extended for the billing cycle of which such period is a part, unless a statement which includes the amount upon which the finance charge for the period is based was mailed or delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the date specified in the statement by which payment must be made in order to avoid imposition of that finance charge which your agency can not furnish proof of it and needs to be CORRECTED TO PAID AS AGREED from all consumer reporting!. The creditor has adopted reasonable procedures designed to ensure that each periodic statement including the information required by section 1637 ( b ) of this title is mailed or delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the payment due date and you have failed to provide this which is hindering my chances of purchasing a home and I dont want me and my family to be homeless and left on the street with my kids. According to 15 USC 1681-s2 / ( 1 ) ( a ) ( 3 ) the LAW CLEARLY STATES : Under this law, furnishers of information have certain obligations, including : ( a ) Duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information ( 1 ) Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( 3 ) Duty to provide notice of dispute If the completeness or accuracy of any information furnished by any person to any consumer reporting agency is disputed to such person by a consumer, the person may not furnish the information to any consumer reporting agency without notice that such information is disputed by the consumer. which your agency has violated my consumer rights. I am demanding you to CORRECT the above late payments from my consumer report AS PAID AS AGREED AND NEVER LATE!. You have 14 days to respond upon receipt of this letter to CORRECT the referenced items AS PAID AS AGREED AND NEVER LATE and send me a new letter notifying me that the information has been CORRECTED TO PAID AS AGREED from all consumer reporting agencies and also mail me a new copy of my report or I will be seeking legal action against your agency for these damages.
