To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint against XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax for their failure to properly address my proven identity theft claims, despite providing substantial evidence. The credit bureaus have acted in direct violation of their obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) by refusing to properly investigate and remove fraudulent accounts from my credit reports. I demand immediate action to resolve these issues, as outlined below. Background : I have been a victim of identity theft, which has been thoroughly documented through an Identity Theft Report, as well as other official documentation, including a Hospice Certification. In addition, I am providing letters from various creditors confirming that these fraudulent accounts have been deleted after their investigations. Despite this, XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax have : Ignored my identity theft claims for an extended period, despite having clear evidence that the accounts are fraudulent. Blocked my access to dispute these fraudulent accounts online, further hindering my ability to resolve these serious issues. Continued to allow these accounts to be re-aged, re-added, or transferred to other companies, which perpetuates the damage to my credit. Reported the same fraudulent accounts under different creditors, as they attempt to offload or sell the accounts, causing duplicative derogatory entries.
