I filed a previous complaint # XXXX with Specialized Loan Service LLC which has now changed their name to Shellpoint which was the previous prior name. Specialized refuded our escrow to us by mistake. I filed the complaint and we were to pay the remaining balance of {$4400.00} to get escrow back where it should be and our payment would go back down to the {$5000.00}. We paid the {$4400.00} on XX/XX/year> and were told that Shellpoint would rerun the escrow analysis and our payment would go back down to the {$5000.00} for the XX/XX/year> payment. We received our statment and the payment is still at {$5500.00}. I called and they can not locate the escrow analysis and can not confirm that we paid all the escrow. I spoke to XXXX at Shellpoint on XX/XX/year>. The call was recorded. This is a scam of a mortgage company, constantly changing their names, bad reviews, scams, etc. I want my mortgage payment back down to the correct amount prior to them refunding escrow by mistake. This is their mistake. I do not want them as my mortgage company anymore how can I get another mortgage company without it costing me substantial money? Specialized Loan Service LLC and Shellpoint have done things that should not have been done on my account.
