My escrow due increased. The mortgage company claims its due to a number provided by the tax department. I have documentation from the taxing authority stating they never provided the mortgage company this information. The mortgage company is asking I pay an additional XXXX XXXX into escrow per year without any documentation or justification for the increased amount. This is a XXXX XXXX increase. I asked to take the escrow off of my mortgage and pay the taxes on my own so I can manage the savings and amounts. Because they have not held the mortgage for a year I am unable to apply and have lost trust the company will even let me manage my own money.
