XXXX XXXX XXXX and their collection Agency Credence claim I opened a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account that I did not. Initially I thought maybe someone in my family living with me might have opened the account. After reviewing the numbers associated on the account I dont recognize any of the phone numbers of my family ever having. In XXXX I went to XXXX and during that time my storage unit was broken into. My ID, social security card, birth certificate, bank statements, past credit reports were all in a file among everything else that was stolen. While in XXXX accounts were opened with XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. My brother was able to get all of them handled and closed. I left XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and was in the middle of the COVID pandemic. I was just trying to get on my feet and hadnt even concerned myself with my credit. Then in XXXX my father was placed in XXXX so I was there with him until he passed away in XXXX. The month after that my nephew XXXX in a XXXX XXXX, and a month later my brother passed away due to a XXXX XXXX I lost almost all my family within 3 months with only one nephew left in my family. In XXXX of XXXX I failed a XXXX XXXX and violated my XXXX and was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and spent most of that time at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I was XXXX in XXXX of XXXX I again was just trying to survive without a support system. In XXXX of XXXX I went through to the police station in XXXX to report my cell phone stolen by hat had been snatched from my hand and then they took off running. I was then arrested for insurance fraud from a fraudulent claim that was filed under my name all ofn much happened while I was XXXX. I spent 4 months waiting for a XXXX XXXX and was XXXX in XXXX. Around XXXX was when accessed my credit report and seen someone had been using my credit for years. I was even provided a copy of a Drivers License with my DL number and name however the picture, height, and weight are not mine. They used this to rent a car at XXXX and get a car at XXXX of XXXX. I provided XXXX XXXX XXXX this along with police reports, a FTC Idenity theft report and a signed Idenity theft affidavit. Both times they sent me a email that say the thoroughly investigated and determined I am responsible for the account without providing and verification of the account or details of their investigation as required by law. I am now filing this complaint because I should not be responsible for an account I did not create. I am also forwarding this complaint to each credit bureau to have the information blocked from my reports because without providing me with verification plus proof of investigation it would be illegal for the credit bureaus to report this account.
