Consumer Narrative
Kohls store sent me a Capital One Visa card without my consent. I had a store card in which I could use that card only at the store. I've had this card for years. Suddenly, I received a Capital one Visa card by mail for which I did not request. I called the store immediately to inquire about it. They stated that they automatically upgraded the cards to a capital one Visa card. This should not be allowed without a person 's consent. I closed the account, which I'm upset because I know this affects my credit score.
