This report is against EXPERIAN CREDIT REPORTING AGENCY back in XX/XX/XXXX i noticed a negative reported account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as a charge off that said i opened an account with them back in XX/XX/XXXX and that it closed with a negative balance in XXXX. i filed a dIspute claiming identity theft with all three OF THE MAJOR REPORTING AGENCIES, experian, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. i first submitted an identity theft report with my local police department, then with the CFPB. I included the identity theft reports, a letter stating i had no knowledge of this account, i in no way benefited or received any compensation in any way from the account, and i demanding they block the information within 4 business days, i also submitted proof of identity, proof of address, and a copy of my credit report identifying the incorrect data. only XXXX XXXX blocked the negative information. i contacted the XXXX XXXX, they sent me the application and the proof of identity the person used to open the account. it was clear that the person in the id was in no way me. all they had to do was compare the driver license i submitted to prove my identity, with the identity that the person used to open the account in my name and it is obvious its not me. XXXX XXXX obviously did this simple investigation, as they removed the negative derogatory info immediately from my credit file. experian did not.
