I have {$1100.00} sitting in the account they claim to have closed due to a disputed transaction the disputed transaction investigation has been concluded and I still haven't received the money that is sitting in the so called closed account I have called numerous times to get my money and they refuse to send it stating that they are doing an internal investigation on my account usage and that they do not have any other information as to when it will be released or what type of internal investigation they are conducting I just want my money that is in the account ASAP as I have bills I need to pay with that money! They closed my account stating that " Weve decided to close your Capital One joint bank account ( s ) ending in XXXX because we observed activity that is inconsistent with our expectations for account usage. The account ( s ) will not be reopened. '' This was on XX/XX/year>. I have yet to receive my money sitting in that account. Deposits can be made to it as my paycheck went in there because I couldn't stop it in time but no funds can be withdrawn. I have talked to numerous banks and lawyers and what they are doing by holding my money isn't legal! Their letter to us said once all claims are completed they would send our money within 3-5 days to a linked account or 5-7 days by check. We have a linked account and still no money received.
