Received a phone message from XXXX about a case number XXXX and asked to call back immediately to " the issuing agent '' at XXXX. The message said there were documents regarding my file being prepared to be sent out and needed to be available to sign for the documents. They called 2 other people in my family with the same message. Upon returning the call, the lady said she could give me a brief synopsis and it was concerning a Capital One debt ( that has already been satisfied years ago ). The caller had my social security number. Once I said I wasn't sure about the validity of this information, the lady said she wasn't there to discuss that and hung up on me. Makes me nervous due to the fact she actually had my social security number.
