On XX/XX/XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX I experienced a water leak which left me without water the entire day.I contacted the front desk and complained.And they told me they would issue a refund for that day since I was unable to use the water. On the receipt for that day, I have adjustments that have been placed on that payment.However, there is no card number for them to have re issued the refund to on the receipt.So I was told to contact my bank and have them do a charge back. I even called chime and gave them the number and name of who to speak to regarding this refund. Chime never called them. My bank being chime, has decided 4 separate times to deny my claim of a charge back for a payment that the hotel has deemed should be refunded. I disputed this transaction on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and now XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I am sent through the exact same processes that lead up to the exact same outcome. Chime has chosen to override the hotel authority of a refund and deem the payment as processed. The issue I have now is that after the the first rebuttal XX/XX/XXXX, I was issued a credit. It was then reversed before the second rebuttal XX/XX/XXXX. That reversal has taken my money and left the account in the negative for a month now. On a credit building account this negative balance has demolished my credit score. And this is unacceptable. Any good this credit building account has done has been undone to a degree leaving me worst off than when I started. How chime feels it has the right to do these things is beyond my comprehension at this time. Even with the reversal of reversed credit payment how do I rebuild my credit score due to this injustice? I am trying to get a new apartment and car. And my credit rating is preventing me from doing so. I'm disgusted with this company.
