Someone created a fraudulent account with XXXX in my name and withdrew a XXXX XXXX XXXX from my banking account tied to my actual XXXX account thus I reported the fraud and XXXX closed my account. I didnt have a way to keep making the auto payments or manually make them and when I would call, each person I spoke with couldnt figure out was going on and multiple customer service folks said the account was closed and i didnt owe a payment. But then they came back and said i had a late payment. I had a handful of calls AND handful of written comms with them trying to sort out the issue. Because the COMPANY kept saying on multiple occasions the account was closed and payment wasnt needed. Time lapsed resulting in a late payment that I was trying to pay/ sort out on time. They did not acknowledge their part in this and refused to accept my dispute and even though I have records otherwise and I was never late to pay entire or after the one issue which was related to fraud because of XXXX poor systems, controls and transaction monitoring.
