I just opened this card in XXXX, but never received the card in the mail. I called the credit card company to request a new card be sent because I never received the first one. The credit card company said they were sending me a new card and were waiving all late fees. Once I got my credit card in the mail, I then made a credit card payment of my full balance minus the late fees because they said they were waiving the late fees. I even called a second time to make sure all of the late fees were being waived because it had been a couple months since I opened the account. They assured me they were waiving all late fees. Yet, then they reported a {$55.00} late fee as a missed payment to the credit bureau. Its the first missed payment that Ive had reported to the credit bureau in my 17 years of having a credit card. This late payment reporting reduced my credit score overnight by over XXXX points. I called the credit card company again after I saw this late payment posting, and they removed that late fee, but refused to remove the late payment reporting to the credit bureau.
