I opened a secured credit card with Fifth third around XX/XX/XXXX. I decided in XXXX of XXXX that this card was not helping my credit and I wanted to close it. I called the number on the back of the card and told them to close it. They told me they were closing it however I had to pay off the {$260.00} and some chane that was owed on it and the would deposit my {$300.00} into my account 30 days after I paid the card off. However, they opened another card without my permission and on my account and allowed someone to process charges on it and when I told them I didn't make the charges they flagged it for fraud and told me the account couldn't be closed until they investigated. XXXX weeks later I received a determination that the charges were fraudulent. So I called them to have them close my account but was told that the fraud department had to take the block off my card before it could be closed and that they were sorry someone had only closed my card and not closed the account and this was why another cars was generated. So when they transferred me to the fraud department they told me they could not help me until someone from my local branch called them. I called my local branch and spoke with XXXX XXXX and he told me that is not how that works and that he would look into this and call me back but didnt. By this time they have closed and opened XXXX cards without my permission each time they closed telling me they were reporting it to the credit bureau. Which they did. I spoke to a woman at the bank XX/XX/XXXX. She told me it was all taken care of and I would get my money back XX/XX/XXXX which is way after the 30 days. But they have since opened XXXX more cards and let charges go through and sent it to the fraud department. I need my money
