Consumer Narrative

I am in the middle of a mortgage and have very good credit. It was discovered the same Navy Federal Credit card account was being reported twice on my XXXX report. First account ending in XXXX is showing an {$18000.00} balance and not updated since XX/XX/year>, this is the same account as ending in XXXX. Navy federal changed the card number from XXXX to XXXX and updated XXXX. XXXX refuses to correct this issue. They are showing two separate account open and in the remarks that " Consumer disputes account information. I HAVE NEVER DISPUTED MY NAVY FEDERAL ACCOUNT INFORMATION. As is it a perfect account in good standing. XXXX Reps have out right lied to me all week. Tuesday he told me he was NOT opening a normal 30 day dispute but an internal dispute and the duplicated account ( XXXX ) would be removed in 72 hours. I call back and the next rep tells me on XXXX that it is being removed as we speak. Its XX/XX/year> and it is still not corrected. Another rep and supervisor with XXXX refused to correct the problem and now blamed Navy Federal. Please Please Help me get this corrected asap. My home loan is depending on it. I currently only have one account ending in XXXX.
