On XX/XX/year> I applied for a XXXX loan from td bank on XXXX I should have gotten a loan approval because most banks approve XXXX car loans and I currently still receive advertisements from XXXX XXXX for being preapproved for a XXXX car loan. This doesn't make sense and seems like something is going on behind the scenes with these banks. 15 US code 1691 states it is illegal to be denied credit or a loan. An adverse action can not be accepted by law. It is unlawful for any bank to discriminate against any applicant with respect to any aspect of a credit or loan transaction. ECOA 1002.6 ( b ) -1 which is the equal credit opportunity act prohibits a bank from using a prohibited basis in any system of evaluating the creditworthiness of applicants except as permitted by the act and part 1002. With these unlawful acts being committed they shall be fined no less than XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX for these unlawful acts. Thank you.
