To whom it may concern, I am a victim of identity theft, and I am writing to dispute certain information in my file resulting from the crime. The items I am disputing do not relate to any transactions that I have made or authorized. Please have Transunion remove this information at the earliest possible time. The fraudulent accounts appearing on my credit report are XXXX BANK, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX BANK XXXX XXXX. I contacted Transunion to have the fraudulent information, but they completely neglected to act. My online Transunion account does not even work properly ; I can not check or submit a new dispute. I get an error message from Transunion every time ( Picture attached ). I tried to resolve it over the phone but a customer service representative who could not speak proper XXXX and her child was crying in the background ( XXXX/ From home representative ) falsely claimed that the issue has been resolved. Transunion has immense power to influence millions of American lives, yet they do not seem to care about doing their work properly or honoring the law, The Fair Credit Reporting Act more specifically in this case. XXXX and XXXX already removed the fraudulent accounts, but Transunion failed to do so. Negligence from Transunion is hurting my life and bringing hardship to it, Transunion is in clear violation of section 611 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681i and section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Please have Transunion comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and remove/block this fraudulent information from my credit file that resulted from Criminal Identity theft. I have attached the Identity Theft report, the Police Report, my Transunion credit report ( With the Fraudulent information highlighted in yellow on the Transunion Report ), proof of Transunion online account error and proof of my identity to this inquiry.
